The New Tuli Wamu Children's Center (TWC Center)
Now that we have finally purchased our land, we are ready to build a Permanent Location for our Tuli Wamu Children's Center. Not only will the center create more stability for the children physically and mentally, it will also enable UCare to become more self sustainable by not to spend money on monthly rent or renting faming land that requires us to travel long distances.
Without the enormous burdon of monthly rent, we will be better positioned to use our limited financial resources on other important aspects of the children's care (school fees, medical care, learning and entertainment activities, improved living conditions, safety and health, skills training and expansion to help more children.

The Plan and Progress
STAGE 1 Purchase of Land/Marking of land border - COMPLETED!
STAGE 2 Preplare land for planting of corn - In progress (this is ongoing)
STAGE 3 Lay the foundation/Build border wall around center
STAGE 4 Purchase Water Tanks (6)/Hook up plumbing for farm, kitchen, laundry area, sinks and bathrooms
STAGE 5 Build septic tank
STAGE 6 Build office, kitchen and bathrooms
STAGE 7 Build sleeping quarters
STAGE 8 Secure windows and door areas with screens
STAGE 9 Build multi-functional rooms (class rooms, blackboards, volunteer stays, storage etc)
STAGE 10 Build central play area and paint center
STAGE 11 - Move the children
STATE 12 - Celebrate with the Community and our Supporters!
